The way that CCTV works at peoples homes is that the CCTV camera catches a signal from the particular location that is being monitored, and in the wired system the CCTV camera sends back signals via a coaxial cable to the CCTV monitor, located in the wireless systmes. No cable is needed but instead the CCTV camera shows the signal and the signal is transmitted by way of cameras to a set of individual monitors.
